Derek is the Director of Business Development at IMRON Corporation. With over 40 years of experience in the security industry, he has served in multiple sales, marketing, and new product development roles. Before joining IMRON, Derek served as VP International Sales and later VP Marketing and New Product Development at Johnson Controls for over ten years. He also served as VP International for seven years at Software House.

In addition to developing two security patents, Derek was the product designer and catalyst for the Software House controller platform and many of the innovations behind the OSI/Stanley Wireless access platform. He also ran Special Markets at Rusco for all third party U.S. sales, which include National, OEM’s, Dealers, and Fuel Management with over 234 dealers.
