Leslie Hall of IMRON Corporation discusses how the RF IDeas enrollment reader is used with the IS2000 access control system.
Security departments control the issuance of identification badges and have requirements for enrolling/assigning the number to the employee as well as various identification needs. RF IDeas manufactures a USB enrollment reader that can read these badges, thus eliminating the need for manual entry and providing error-free identification. pcProx is compatible with over 300 million physical access proximity cards. This reader allows users to use their building access card for other forms of identification and security throughout their workplace. This product is available either embedded in a keyboard or the standard wedge type housing. The plug-n-play reader comes with flash memory, allowing the user to quickly configure the output to meet the user’s needs.
