Configuring Controllers to Support 250,000 Cardholders

Supporting 250,000 Cardholders per Controller

In order to allocate enough RAM in the SCP-2, SCP-M, and/or EPC-1, you MUST first disable some of the features that take up most of the RAM.  One in particular is the number of access levels that a card holder can have per record.

Copy and paste the blue text below to the RemotePath\Drivers\12000.ini file and restart the driver.  Once the driver has restarted and the controllers have come back online, set the Max_Cards property in Hardware Manager for each controller to 250,000.  Please note that this option is only available in builds 8.8.71 and beyond.  This will reset each of the controllers and perform a download all.:
