Check-In App

Use the IMRON Check-In App to scan attendee QR codes for admission and speaker-session attendance. The browser-based app works directly from your phone—no App Store download is required.

Open Check-In App View Instructions

01 / OPEN

Launch the App

Go to checkin.imron.com from your phone's browser.

02 / SELECT

Choose Check-In Type

Select Admission or Session Speaker before scanning.

03 / SCAN

Scan the QR Code

Point the camera at the attendee's confirmation QR code.

For Staff Only

Checking In Attendees Is Simple.

The app records the attendee, check-in type, and timestamp automatically after a successful scan.

Access the App

Open your mobile browser and go to checkin.imron.com.

Select the Check-In Type

Use the dropdown at the top of the app before scanning attendees.

Admission — attendee check-in at the front desk.
Session Speaker — records attendance for speaker sessions and CPE tracking.

Scan the Attendee

After selecting the check-in type, a live camera preview will appear. Ask the attendee to display the QR code ticket from their confirmation email and hold it in front of your camera.

Confirm the Scan

Once read successfully, the attendee's name, check-in type, and timestamp are logged automatically.

Important for Registration Staff

Remind attendees to keep their QR code ticket available throughout the event so it can be scanned again at sponsor booths and speaker sessions.

Faster Access

Add the Check-In App to Your Home Screen.

Saving the website to your phone's home screen makes it launch like a regular app and saves time throughout the event.



iPhone · Safari

Open Safari. Use Safari for this setup step.
Go to https://checkin.imron.com.
Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll down and choose Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add in the top-right corner.
Use the new Check-In App icon from your home screen anytime.

Android · Chrome

Open Google Chrome.
Go to https://checkin.imron.com.
Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
Select Add to Home screen.
Edit the shortcut name if desired and tap Add.
Use the new shortcut to launch the app directly.

Troubleshooting

If the Camera or QR Scanner Isn't Working.

Allow Camera Access

Make sure your browser has permission to use the phone's camera.

Close Other Camera Apps

No other app or browser tab should be using the camera. Close those first, then refresh the page.

Refresh or Restart

If scanning does not start, refresh the page or completely close and reopen your browser.

Check Your Connection

Make sure the phone has a stable Wi-Fi or cellular internet connection.

Adjust QR Code Position

Improve lighting or move the QR code slightly closer or farther away if it is not reading clearly.

Contact IMRON staff if scans do not appear to be logging correctly.
