Imron Hussain is the President and founder of IMRON Corporation. Prior to establishing IMRON Corporation, Imron was the Chief Engineer and a part owner of Westar Systems in 1993, where he developed the first Windows-based software to manage access control, intrusion, fire, and video under a single interface. The software was installed at many locations such as IBM, Symantec, Xerox Corporation, MGM (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer), Rysher Entertainment, Warner Bros. Studios, Walt Disney Company, Wells Fargo Center Los Angeles, Bank of America, and several other buildings in downtown Los Angeles. Due to its overwhelming success and its development of the first generation of integrated access software, Westar Systems was acquired by Hirsch Electronics. After achieving the goals at Westar, Imron decided to take on new challenges with IMRON Corporation.

With over 25 years of experience in the security industry, Imron has developed a completely new and advanced generation of integrated access control software. Initially, he focused on providing the best security software in the industry to several OEM customers. After successfully meeting the needs of these customers, Imron has continued to play a crucial role in the maintenance of the company’s software to meet the industry’s cutting-edge standards. Since 2003, IMRON Corporation has expanded its operations to provide complete system solutions through a dealer network, leading to thousands of installations worldwide.

More recently, Imron led a team of Stanford University students to develop its award-winning product UnityIS, managing Physical and Logical Access Control, with Video and Alarm systems, combining all security needs into one powerful system. UnityIS has been installed worldwide, securing government facilities, airports, commercial high-rise buildings, hospitals, and universities. Under Imron’s leadership, IMRON Corporation was presented with the 2015 Access Control System of the Year Award and multiple Secure Campus Awards in Access Control from 2020 to 2022.

Additionally, IMRON Corporation was selected for the Best of Irvine Award for the second consecutive year and qualified for the Irvine Business Hall of Fame. The award is given to local companies that enhance the positive image of small businesses through service to their customers and community.

Imron holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
