A Busy Arena With Complex Security Needs.
Ball Arena hosts professional basketball and a wide range of entertainment events, creating a security environment that has to support large crowds, employees, contractors, and changing event operations.
More than a decade ago, the arena began looking for a better way to manage access control while continuing to use systems and hardware that were already in place.
UnityIS® became the management layer that allowed the arena to modernize incrementally instead of treating the project as a complete rip-and-replace.

UnityIS® integrated with Ball Arena's existing Honeywell access-control system and Axis Camera Station video-management system while newer IMRON access-control panels were introduced alongside the legacy hardware.
This preserved earlier hardware investments while creating a path toward a more flexible architecture. The arena could continue operating existing equipment and add new access-control technologies over time.
Most importantly, security operators gained a centralized platform instead of being forced to work across disconnected systems.

The strength of the Ball Arena deployment is the architecture itself: UnityIS® sits above different security technologies so the venue can modernize in phases rather than tying the entire system to one hardware manufacturer.
Implementation
A Phased Transition Instead of a Disruptive Cutover.
IMRON access-control panels were deployed alongside the existing Honeywell hardware. IMRON worked with arena personnel to integrate the systems, train users, and optimize the environment.
That approach allowed Ball Arena to improve security operations without requiring the facility to replace every controller at once or interrupt established workflows simply to modernize the software platform.
